Satay Sauce – For Everything
Add an Asian vibe to any meal with this punchy peanut sauce!
- ½ cup crunchy natural peanut butter
- ½ cup coconut cream (I use Ayam brand)
- 1 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp rice malt syrup
- Juice of 1 lime
- Chilli flakes or powder to taste (optional)
- Water
Place all ingredients in a bowl and using a whisk, mix until well combined. Add water to get the desired consistency (and make it go further).
Do a taste test and adjust any of the flavours to your personal preference.
Serving Suggestions
- Use to dress salads and roast veggies
- Dip your cold rolls
- Granola
- A marinade for BBQ'd meats and veg
